Excellent facility. Does swim lessons and recreational swimming too. Kids have an additional water play area too. They have a spa and sauna as well. They also have a gym and several studios for group exercise sessions. All under one roof.
Extremely poor experience. I got messed around by this place, with the only resolution being an apology for doing so.
Amelia, the manager, seems great and tries to be clear and communicative. Management above and those below seem incapable of acknowledging their mistakes and fixing it.
Don't bother going to this facility.
80% of the pools were taken by lessons and lap swimmers. That means the remaining children, teens and parents had to fit into the remaining 20% of free pool space. Unfortunately there wasn't enough room for everyone to fit into the 20%. This all occurred on a hot Sunday at 1030.
My family and our friends came here today and had Richard Kuruppan Ruby as our life guard, he was very kind and polite during the time we spend there.
Thank you for hiring him, his presence made everyone of us want to come back.
Please let him know how much we appreciate him and his kindness.
I am so happy to see this leisure in northern Melbourne, i will be happier to see the largest and most diverse entertainment place with water games as I've seen in other countries.
Great modern facilities, and all inclusive, with change rooms and showers, which is great. The casual prices are reasonable also. My only suggestion just have someone monitoring how many people and how long people are staying inside the sauna because the last few times I've use this facility this has been massively overcrowded. Thanks guys great space
Mill Park Leisure is a great place for recreational activities and working out. The staff are always friendly and work exceptionally well to keep the pool safe.
The pool services the Leisure Centre provides are wide in variety, including but not limited to: Spa, Sauna, a warm water pool, a cold water pool, workout sessions and swimming lessons.
The gym services the Leisure Centre provides are also plentiful and convenient, with a 24/7 gym with several high-end machines and tools.
Both the gym and pools have access to a secure locker area, change rooms and shower, however the pool’s lockers do require timed payment or a membership to use.
Memberships are quite expensive, to be paid weekly. The most common membership which includes the 24/7 gym access, pool access and locker access is valued at around $15 per week, making the Leisure centre much more suited to payment per visit unless you intend to visit the centre more then once a week.
Pool has good 50 meter indoor, warm pool, spa, and sauna.
24-hour gym access is a great motivation for a late night workout .
The young new staff always have their backs turned away from the water, talking to eachother, or patrons, never watching. Have the audacity to kick everyone out of the warm water kids pool hours before it shuts, even if you’ve just paid to swim. Change rooms much smaller then before they were updated. Disappointed and wont be returning
The Pilates are excellent. The instructors are great and this is why I joined
but as a gym- there’s a lot that requires improvement.
-Showers are barely warm.
-I saw someone wash faeces back INTO the pools when trying to “clean” it up
-took 5 weeks almost of me chasing up child minding to get our kids enrolled despite many attempts
- even when we noticed the swim school of our kids absence- due to a misunderstanding of the app- we lost all the make up sessions (at $25 per session, this is disappointing)
The app needs work- the pools are limited- particularly when you are paying for children to attend but cannot use pools that are warm enough for children to practice their swimming (not play!)
Our kids attend swimming lessons- (3 kids) and other than the shallow play pool
There is no where for them to then practice outside of the lessons. And the warm pools are only for 16+
(We understand the heat is a tricky balance for young kids but we’re talking 20 min for kids under 10, not hours!)
It’s a convenient location
But I wish they’d value the members just a little more.
